Application Form for Anabaptism at 500 Advisory Group

As the Anabaptist movement approaches its 500th anniversary in 2025, MennoMedia will commemorate the event with a suite of products, anchored by an Anabaptist Study Bible. These resources are intended to inspire Anabaptist Christians and encourage the church to carry forward a shared, living faith for present and future generations. The Anabaptism at 500 project will live in the space between where the church has been and where it is going.

A full-time Project Director and a full-time Managing Editor will serve as paid staff for the duration of this project, slated for completion in 2025. An Advisory Group consisting of 3 MennoMedia staff with an additional 9 volunteers will serve as a sounding board to the Project Director and Managing Editor for the Anabaptism at 500 Project and provide guidance in carrying out the specific projects. Each volunteer Advisory Group member will receive a yearly honorarium ranging from $500 to $1,000 USD in recognition of the time and work given to the project. Advisory Group members will be assigned to several subgroups that will work on specific products (see list above). All those applying to be on the Advisory Group must commit to serving for three years beginning March 2022 and commit to at least two in-person meetings each year along with additional Zoom meetings as scheduled. All expenses incurred for travel or other project-related work will be borne by the publisher.
